about

Leksand's Tingsmarsch / Fred Picknell's March

This set starts with a traditional march after Kungs Levi from Leksand in Sweden. Fred Picknell was a colliery blacksmith and Northumbrian pipe-maker from Blyth, Northumberland during the early 20th century. Andy wrote this march while restoring an instrument Picknell had made. We subsequently used this tune on our famous Christmas video!
