about

First a medley of two traditional Finnish melodies, Risumäki Beat and Satiaisen Polska. The first one is an old shepherd tune from Risumäki village in historical Ingria. The second one is a bridal polska from the middle part of Finland. From all its various names, Satiaisen Polska is definitely the one for us. A good English translation of 'satiainen' would be 'nits'.
